Not sure if we have posted this before.
NiJ teating on both our LIV and L3a plates.
For those that don,t know
The gray residue you are seeing on the plates is the clay backing that the "BFS"is tested against.
It simulates the human body to see how far the indentation from the bullet impact effects the body.
An armour plate may stop a bullet but the impact may kill you if the BFS " back face signature " is too high
Things like collapsed lungs shatterd rib cage. Ruptured heart muscles. Can happen.
How your armour is built is as important if not more then meeting the industry "minimum standard"
Quality raw products and 100% quality control needs to be the minimum standard.
Building products like you're life depends on it
