Not sure if we have posted this before.
NiJ teating on both our LIV and L3a plates.
For those that don,t know
The gray residue you are seeing on the plates is the clay backing that the "BFS"is tested against.
It simulates the human body to see how far the indentation from the bullet impact effects the body.
An armour plate may stop a bullet but the impact may kill you if the BFS " back face signature " is too high
Things like collapsed lungs shatterd rib cage. Ruptured heart muscles. Can happen.

How your armour is built is as important if not more then meeting the industry "minimum standard"

Quality raw products and 100% quality control needs to be the minimum standard.
Building products like you're life depends on it

Thanks for posting. This is why north american made and proven products are worth the money. Dont trust any of the off shore rebranded plates to save your life.

2 rounds of M2 AP at 15 m the standard is 1 rd.
23 mm of BFS on rd one and 31mm on rd 2.
Yes I was on the phone with a lady from Ukraine looking for carriers I asked if they needed plates as we have already shipped 100,s of sent to Poland.
She said she had paid for plates from a Canadian company on Ontario she was told they were made in Canada.
But juat found out they are rebranded Chinese plates.
She asked for a certificate of proof of Origin...cricket's....
She went to said "factory " in Ontario.
3 times no one would answer the door.
This went of for 4 weeks.
Finally her step son made an appointment to go to said "factory " pretending to be an other group from Ukraine.
When he got in and dropped the bomb. The kicked him out and locked the doors.
After sitting outside for an hour an again lady she did not speak good English came out and screamed you leave or I call police....
It's like somthing out of a bad movie.
I have nothing against product made in China. We all use it but just done fake it. Not when people's lives are on the line..
There are 3 or 4 really good armoir companies in Canada.
Be careful where you spend your money.
Now this Ukrainen group is out $25,000 cdn

WOW!!! consider that the NIJ limit is 44mm that's a1 quality.

a study fund that reducing backforce deformation to les than 34 mm instead of 44mm reduces chance of death by 50%, so being less than that on the second shot of AP ammo is absolutely incredible. seems like these would keep you alive and keep you in the fight.

Now this Ukrainian group is out $25,000 cdn

Oh god, how awful.

25,00 buys a lot of good quality plates to save soldiers lives. I don't know how anyone could sleep at night defrauding someone doing something so noble.

Does said company proudly proclaim to be proud members of the NFA, CCFR and CADSI at the bottom of their homepage? If so those organizations may be very interested in that story.
