So....
Who here is serious about large plates ?
We have not had those since last summer, but we do get asked Lot.
We planing a small run of these in late may.
These would be ESAPI large, triple curved 1pc ceramic.
And of course NIJ certified
we woukd be looking at Roind $1100 per set. .

As you know, almost no one stocks large plates, not the Chinese cra*p plates.

This is,why we are looking at doing a small run.

Please post here if your are interested.

Without sounding rude.
There is a big different is fitment depending on fitness level
Would love to understand more…..seems like a hard topic for non mil/leo to get info on, and every store seems to provide conflicting advice that feels a bit like buy this because we have it in stock.

my understanding is that even an overweight person has all their organs in the same place as a thin person.

How does that change with someone tall?

Who should buy an L plate vs. an M plate?

The issue is fitment, if you have 50 pounds of on your chest and back and gun there a good chance, that you organs are going to be in the same place as a normal person, because you are not really that big, you are just fat.
now take the same weight class, and say they are 6,5 with a 55 chest there is likely going to have larger as the parson is going to have bigger bones and organs will be larger to do adapting to the work for the larger fitter body.

What measurements are needed to recommend a fit?
