saw a video on youtube that referenced that problem....pretty sure he had a "fix" for it as well.
I don't have that issue with mine, the mags all "click" in solid and lock.

cant find a video, searched youtube for a while before posting
it's within one of the videos that address the failure to feed issue.....he goes on to show where to file in order to get your mag to mount the whole way in.
I know that I've seen it, if I get some time i'll try to get you a link.
Have you tried the original military stock?
They accommodate the magazine quite well and are just about idiot-proof to boot: VERY tough.
I have on here that is 107 years old and still works fine.
No trouble loading, either: use Chargers.
