I personally think the AA stock looks waaay better on the M38/M44. The long barrel of the 91/30 is even more exaggerated once in the AA stock because of the removed handgaurds.

Don't know how far the OP plans to go yet! From an aesthetics perspective, yes, the M38/M44 looks much better in aftermarket stocks.
