Archangel Mosin stock

just got the archangel mosin stock I ordered from hical... disappointed... finish is messed up..

This is how the finish should look like:

The spacer to cover the slot for the safety bar for a timney trigger is also missing.


The 5 round magazine does not lock, I can pull it out without using the release...



My first time ordering from them...
I emailed them, we'll see how it goes...

In the same order from hical, i had a FAB Angled PTK Foregrip, a 10 round archangel mosin mag, a TAPCO single point sling mount nut and the stock with the 5 round mag..
The stock was not in the retail package, they just threw everything in a box with just some brown paper..
there is a photocopy of the 2 package manual, saying that they shipped it without the retail package to save shipping time.. WTF?

when i got it from Canada Post, everything was banging against each other...

I just bought an M38 off another CGN'er and it's in the mail.. hopefully all is good on that end...
 
The whole "shipped without retail packaging" is Archangel trying to get them out the door as quickly as possibly, nothing to do with Hical. My stock showed up from CanAm in the same packaging, with the same photocopy, and without the spacer, but luckily not with that finish.
 
That is the way Archangel packaged the Mosin stocks, Its from the factory like that, including the instructions. The marking looks like mold release agent, call us tomorrow & we will sort out everything for you! Dave.

Theyll sort it out. Ive been to their store and came away with a good idea that Hi Cal is all about customer relations. My archangel was just the opposite. It came in the mail,quite well packed and eveything was in order. I cant comment on the 5 rounder but my ten cycles flawlessly and fits well

You're right.. Great customer service!
Got a call from Dave and gave me a tip to spray WD-40 on the stock to get rid of the mold release agent and it's all good and I'm so relieved!
The 10 rounder seems to work good and Dave has assured me that he will sort it out for the 5 rounder.
maybe I can get the 5 rounder replaced with a 10 rounder + cash? :)
 
I have the same issues with my five rounder as well as the two 10 rounders i have. They have feed issues as well.
