Hi all,
I recently put the Archangel Marauder kit on my 10-22 (it looks great by the way, fits tight as a drum!!). Anyway, it comes with fixed, none detachable sights on the top rail. When I try to add the standard scope mounts I have, the sights are in the way of the scope. Any suggestions about what an appropriate scope mount would be, to have a scope sit higher than the sights?
Thanks,
Mike C

You can remove the stock sights so your scope will fit. I don't have any personal experience with a marauder kit but I have heard that the sights are removable.

Check out this Marauder review and go to about 2 min 30 seconds in and he talks about how to remove the sights.

Original sights are easy to remove (and replace). I used a RedDot on mine (with no riser beyond the scope's supplied mount), and the original sights aren't in the way. I can see them though the scope, and I can almost use them, but they don't get in the way of using the scope...if that's any help

Archangel sights

A closer examination of my stock shows 2 cleverly hidden pins holding the sights on. I take it the best way to add optics is to remove them???
