Are Americans Allowed?

Are Americans aloud to come to Canada and purchase ammo?
Someone told me they are and that we should be afraid of them buying up all our ammo.

I think they can if they are on a hunting trip.... not sure about bringing back lots though...

If they have a valid Canadian PAL, no problem.

As AR-GUY says, any ammo purchase needs a PAL so the vast majority of US shooters absolutely cannot, by Can law.

No idea what US law says about importing ammo in general, but all Chinese is banned by country and the Czech x39 is banned due to steel core.

OP, ask your source if he is aware of these rules. I doubt he is.

As far as americans coming to canada and buying all your ammo ... I wouldn't worry to much about that. They manufacturer most of if it, for what I buy, so they will probably just stop shipping it to canada .. and save some costs by buying at home.
