Are barrel blanks available in Canada?

Yes, for rifles, Hirsch Precision keeps a good stock of top brands like Krieger and Bartlein and others, there's also JC custom who makes excellent barrels.
There's also other options, all depends on what you're looking for and who has it.
 
A shout out to Bob Jury. My jury barrelled 6br build is shooing very well and into the mid 2s to 3s. Simply outstanding. And by keeping the duty, taxes and exchange rate in mind on those foreign barrels....it is time to keep these great Canadian barrel makers supported by buying local. Time will tell if they can keep up with those brands like Krieger, shilen, lilja, bartlein, etc. but with my first experience with the Jury.....well the Jury will be out playing at the local events here shortly. :cool:

Anyone know of someone willing to do 30+ inch barrels out of plain steel rather than Stainless? I've called a few people but most seem to top out at 28-30 and seems everyone's switching to stainless since consistent quality non-stainless is getting hard to get.

I think Jury can do 32" and he can make barrels out of 4140 HTSR
