Hello everyone I'm just wondering if the campro 44-40 truncated cone projectiles safe for tube magazines ?
I have a 1914 dated winchester 1892 and I'm just checking if thay are safe to use
Thank you for your time

Yup I use them lots they are good to go
Only issue I have is when crimping the bullets still like to “turtle” if I load a lot in the tube
I use the Lee FCD and have a good bite to it but I think the bullets are a bit slippery and the 44-40 brass is pretty thin at the mouth so does not have a lot of gripping power
They are still great plinking rounds though
Yes they work good but the Winchester 44 40 of that time take .429 or .430 I have one it uses campro .429 200 gr. Truncated cone, a bit cheaper too. It also shoots .430 lead cowboy 12 hardness lead with no lead problems if I shoot 1050 fps
