Are Colt AR15/M4s rare in Canada?

And if so, how much do they go for ?
I know there are a lot of model variants but a ballpark?

Have a Colt pistol, looks like Colt makes a nice AR. Curious what they go for though and how they stack up compared to other brands.

the LE6920 runs about $2600 and up.
not sure about the SP and the other models.

Yeah, mostly the LE6920 model.
I heard that they go for 1100 bucks at the Wal Mart down in the US.
I am floored how much it is here.
Colt pistols are a lot closer in price in Canada and the US.

IMHO, while Colt rifles are unarguably extremely high quality guns, they aren't worth the price. I would look into an LMT or Noveske rifle at that price range, or a Daniel Defense if you're feeling a bit more tacticool. Hell, if you want to you could build your own AR, plenty of fun, and more flexibility than any other option.

Colts are good, but they're not the end all of AR's. As mentioned, LMT, DD and Noveske are all much more readily available and are comparable, if not superior, in quality, and are much less expensive.

Colts are the originals. Colt AR's (not the new ones that have recently come in), the original ones, ARE worth money, but... it seems some people are jonesing for other things and let them go too cheaply. I wouldn't let my Colts go for anything less than $2000.00 each, and that would only be if my pet needs surgery or something.

there are people up here that will pay top dollar for a LE6920...

i sold one that was well used and had seen better days, and with that money i purchased a BNIB Noveske Infidel...i think i got the better deal, but some guys would disagree.
