Shot a coyote this morning. A single .22 lr in the head, so he's in great shape.

Are coyotes worth anything in alberta this year?
And if they are, where do I take it in southern alberta, medicine hat area?

There is a wealth of info on youtube how to skin and process your own coyotes. You will get the most $ doing it that way.

I guess Bruce isn't doing it any more, but Layne Lucas is. He doesn't want any until into december.
Not that I shoot a lot of them, but its good to know anyway.

Worth it the sense of conservation I'd say. Gonna be targeting some on my trapline this year.I don't expect big bucks for eastern coyote especially since I won't be able to target them later in the season due to the fact I'll be snowed out by that time when furs are fully prime.
