I bought a C/Z Woodcock O/U in 2008, since then I have shot about 1500 rounds mostly skeet and some sporting clays with out one single hiccup, cough, sneeze, burp or or fart, you get my point.
There are also a few others I shoot skeet with that use the C/Z o/u, one is a Redhead and the other is a Woodcock both in 20ga I believe.
The went with the Woodcock cause of the case color, I have always been a big fan of it, other than that I could have saved myself an extra few hundred bucks by going with the Redhead.
The wood compared to other o/u's certainly doesn't make ya want to stand back and admire the beauty of the the grain, but with mine and the few others that I have seen, the grain runs straight with out any flaws.
So far I have no regrets buying my C/Z o/u, also my first, and would even consider buying another, perhaps in a 20ga or one of their s/s.
But another summer is upon us and the skeet season here has just started back up for the year, my final verdict will come at the end of the year when I have had a chance to put in a full summer of shooting and some hunting for grouse, then we'll see how well it has done.
Yeah OK, I didn't see the date that the thread was started, but here is my opinions on the subject.
Just my $ .02
