Are handguns slow to sell again??

Restricted firearms are rapidly losing their appeal. I don't want to waste money (that I don't even have) on paper weights. The time is coming, where I finally sit back and look at my collection and realize, I've "actually" got all I "need." Who'd uh thunk it.

Myself am in a better position than ever financially since covid (everyone wants a plumber around lately!)

Still feel like selling my collection.
2/3 of my shooting ranges are closed since 12 months now.
I feel like my collection is losing it’s appeal.
Keeping it around since I don’t need the money, but still thinking hard about downsizing it all and keep the 6-7 essential guns in the safe...

Economic/employment reasons, concerns over possible new firearms laws prohibiting handguns, usual post Christmas period lull in consumer spending, saving for family holiday when/if travel opens up, the list goes on. I have sold three used handguns over the last year and got asking or very slightly below asking for them. I also bought two during the same time, also at asking or slightly below. There is still a demand. Some of the prices on the EE are a bit much, but I find reasonably priced items come along if you are patient.

Iam in buying mode and selling I don’t give a damn what they ban restricted or non even what’s now prohibited iam keeping them all I worked hard for my money to buy my property and it’s mine and not for sale. Iam ready to go to prison when time comes to turn them in so I will say sorry in advance cause Iam sure there will be tax dollars going to feed me while I do my time in jail

Yeah the prices on all the guns that hang around are very high. I understand that prices have gone up a bit in the states but $675 for a used M&P 1.0 range kit? $1400 for a like new g19 with night sites and threaded barrel? Lots going up and selling fast but not when you're prices are as listed above.

There will always be buyers for the right gun at the right price.

May 1st 2020 and the flip flopping around a handgun ban along with extended range closure might be a reason for the slowing down. As Caramel stated, anything NR is more desirable.

The only reason there's a slowdown with me is just paying off the credit card from the last one so I can get another lol

I've bought 2 in the last week.
There is alot of guns on there with 2000 rounds fired by me and 500 by previous owner "like new in box" and has the same price as new or I have even seen prices higher than new from a store.

EE prices are a joke.

Buying new at the same price or cheaper.

Also TT33 going the same path as the SKS ?
