I have been toying with the idea of getting the adapter so I can run AR pistol mags.
Are they worth it? I have heard about feed issues. I'm looking for personal experience good and bad. Thanks in advance all.

They work, but for the cost of the adapter, having it fitted, and a few magazines, you could buy two or three crates of 7.62x39...

Your call.

It was not a lot of work to machine it out. It took me longer to learn how to use the mill then to machine the metal. (I'm not a machinist) With the adapter at 185 and the mags running under 30 a piece, I thought it was a good deal. You might only be able to get one crate of ammo for 245.

Its a good idea if you don't like the long mags pinned at 5. The adapter plus a few mags is a good investment. No milling needed. Just a brass punch and hammer. Can be changed over on your table.

B&T adapter is designed for 7.62. Wolverine sells em. I have one I will part with for much less than wolverine charges

I have the B&T and a bunch of lar mags for mine. Cost me 50 bucks for a local smith to machine / install it. I like it. Makes the gun more fun to shoot being able to go bang 10 times. One thing tho, it does not retain the last round bolt hold open, but for me I don't care.

Hmm now I'm really intrigued, where can I get one cheap... Anyone willing to offload one? Then there's the machining part, what exactly needs to be done to allow fitment, looks like a hole that needs to be drilled cross through the reciever for that pin that it has, anything else?
