Are PGW's Timberwolfs at work in A'stan?

Just wondering, not expecting to see newspaper stories on them but wondering how they're working in those conditions if they are there.
Any CF guys know?
 
Yes, Timberwolves and AR-10's are being used. I highly doubt any FN's are being used; not by snipers at least.

Hungry here: LOL Maybe the FN's are being used by the insurgents, you know from Peshawar over the border. Maybe supplied by Osama Bin Layton after his 'negotiations'. LOL

I had heard the same rumor as well. Were you told about the Enfields, Rosses, and Schneider-Enfields too?
 
Ar10 are a Good Choice, Accurate and Fast, Glad I still had Mine!.
if that it is a Rumor, just treat it as a Rumor, that all!, Unless you heard for the real guy!

Of that I have no doubt. Still it would warm my heart to see the FN in use, although I think the AR-10 can fill the need with less training required.

I can say that no FNs are being used by the CF. Most were destroyed this summer. If I recall the timeline correctly, all of the war stock FN C1, C2 and C5s should have been destroyed including all the spare parts and equipment by now. None were kept, despite efforts to make them opfor weapons for training. FNs are gone....forever from inventory.....there are no war stocks of FNs...and limited stocks of Enfields are kept for the Rangers....

So any discussion of operational use of FNs are rumour since they only reside in museums now. :(

I also heard that SKS is still being used, but not by our guy, it was brough from the Vietnamese!
