I seen one in EE that "looks" beautiful....love the walnut (if it actually is) wood with the black receiver and chrome 12.5 and 18 inch barrel and mag extension..... what are the quality on these? I've tried to Find reviews but all I can find is links to Corwin arms site.....anyone had experience or failures with these....Ive had nothing but 870s and winchester defenders all my life....will I be disappointed? are these garbage lol?

I have the ASIL BULLDOG SHORT 12 GA 13INCH BARREL SHOTGUN with Screw in Chokes NON-RESTRICTED which is sold on Corwin as well, I think it is a great little shotgun, super light, good bush, and gun cheap enough you dont care if you bang it up a bit. works everytime you squeeze the trigger and i have never had a jam issue with mine. the ASIL and the Sinsinati have the same wolf design on it so... so i would say same quality

^^^^^^Thanks for the reply.....is the action sloppy? Are any of the parts interchangeable with a remington 870?

The action is not sloppy on mine at all. And to be 100% honest i am not sure if any of the parts are interchaneable. it is nice having the easy screw in chokes depending what you are doing with it cause you can change them out in about 10 seconds. The only down fall i can think of is because it is so light you get a pretty solid kick, so shooting it all day can get a little sore on the shoulder.

I just picked up a 12.5" from Corwin-Arms.

The wood and fit and finish are way higher quality than I expected for a $350 shotgun. It loads smoothly and cycles smoothly as well. Has twin action bars. Disassembly was the easiest for any firearm I've ever disassembled. Take off the magazine cap, slide the action forward and that's it, bolt and everything is out. The trigger group pins came out without even needing a punch -- awesome.

They're far from junk.

Not compatible with the 870.

I have a 20 ga Sinsinati that I will not trade for love nor money. I hunted for a 20 all last winter that fit my needs and was lucky to get one of the last 18" in stock. Was shooting a buddy's last week with slugs and was totally impressed. Fit and finish is great for the bucks. I have bought 4 guns from Corwin in the last year and am impressed with every one. LGS not so much as anything similar is twice the price.

^^^^

I have the same gun as EL34,, In fact I bought it after he posted the pictures of his last year lol... Great little gun imo
