I have been researching Mausers a lot lately and I'm just stuck on FR8's. I want one so bad. Do you guys think we'll ever see any site sponsors selling them again?

I bought one when it was only $65. Should have bought more....

Similar in size to a #5 and a M44, but much nicer to shoot.

My son like to shoot it in the Vintage shoot, so we change the mag so it would hold 10 rounds (25, actually). The original assault rifle.

If you are close to Edmonton, check the next gun show early March. There was 2 at the last show in December and they did not sale. So they should be there in March both were around $450 asking price

Very nice conversion.

Which company makes these?

Thanx.

I believe they are the reproduction ww1 German "trench magazines" and are long gone. You can find them occasionally used for $120-150 each. Try the EE, I've seen some there in the past.

Remember, they do not have to be pinned, since they are for a bolt action rifle. 25 rounds good to go.

Plentiful and easy to find in the States with many dealers there selling between $30 and $50 dollars each, ask a dealer here to import some more. Would not pay more than $65 for one although.

If you want a trench magazine just put an add on these gun forums someone out there has one. I found one at a gun store somewhere in the prairies. They do pop up.
