Yes, there are Galil 5.56mm and 7.62mm mags in Canada. Most are paired to prohibited/grandfathered examples of their parent rifle.

Law-abiding owners of such firearms such as myself have long since reduced those otherwise highly valuable rifle magazines (on the US market) to near-worthlessness by rivetting them to the max 5 rounds capacity mandated by the formr Liberal government. Equate that to taking your classic Porsche automobile (capable of execeeding the speed limit, and therefore oh so terrible), and being told to remove the engine in the interests of public safety. Yeah, right.

Anyhow, to answer your question - the Galil mags exist in both "neutred" and " parts kit" form. But they will cost you dearly. Especially the 7.62mm version. Sorry to say that I can't help you there.

Search on-line, and you will find that original Galil mags cost upwards of $50 USD. And that is for the synthetic Israeli mags, before they are appropriately altered to hold a maximum of 5 rounds.....

Good luck in finding and then legally importing the IMI steel mags. Seriously. Good luck......
 
I paid about 45 bucks or so for my new in wrap Galil 308 12 round mag pinned to 5 from a guy on this website, 35/5 NIW plastic .223 Orlite mags were 35 bucks each if I remember correctly. Can't remember his handle at the moment, sells a lot of mags and stuff in the EE. BTW, the Galil .223 mags do not fit the Swiss Arms rifles properly.
