While not technically Alberta, you could try Corlane Sports in Dawson Creek, BC. Almost northern Alberta.

Gunsmiths in Northern Alberta

I tried that guy in Grimshawe, owly, told me he only works on target style rifles and has contempt for hunting rifles, end of conversation. Corlanes are the best in the Northwest, forget the border.
