are there any long distance rifle range in or near edmonton AB

Define near. There is the longest mile out in Edson. There is also the Nosehill club south of Wainwright, out to 1400yds.

Other then that you need crown land or a friendly farmer.
 
Edson is the closest by a bit, still 2 hours drive out there from my house............. guess that means that the Savage 110BA is off the purchase list, then again,,,,,,,,,, 2 hours is a nice Saturday drive and day out too.... still gives me tons of time to shoot with the daylight here in the summer

Just looked them up online, 1500 meter range, and backstop at 1600, wow, be worth the drive there just to see it.

There is drone footage you can watch on the Edson Fish And Game website. Not the greatest video, but it gives you an idea.
 
drayton valey is 400 meters

memberships are now purchased at mulligan registries and your picture gets taken there

quite convenient now


130 single I believe

they may be open saturdays

it is the only vendor now the others are not selling booklets any more, just better this way less accounting and you would have to get your picture taken anyway

@ TENGUNS, I looked at the Drone footage, it's quite the impressive setup, thanks to you as well
 
The lack of a long range....range in my area has kept me from dropping a whack of cash down on a .338 or similar for some time now. That being said, it doesn't stop others from coming out and punching huge holes in gongs and backstop frames at 300m, ruining it for everyone else. Kind of seems like buying a Ferrari when you only drive in the city...
