I need your help. I've looked high and low for a low profile cantilever scope mount option. I need to bring my scope back another 1" to 1.5" closer to my eye. Where it is currently positioned forces a very unnatural head position. There are a ton of scopes mounts out there, but they are all mostly 1.5" from the base to the center of the rings. Too high.

Anyone have any ~1" high scope mount options (or other options for that matter). This is the setup on my MDT for the 10FCP. Modifying/changing the butt stock is not an option. Thanks in advance.

I was hoping Larue or GG&G had something around 1" to centerline. I was only able to find 1.5" like you found here. Ends up being too high. I saw something from Nightforce around 1", but they want nearly 400$ it. That might end up being my option of last resort. Thanks for hunting this down.

LaRue Tactical ?

Yup. I checked a few: Nightforce, Vortex, Leupold, Burris, Larue, GG&G, Warne, Talley, and others. I cant believe no one makes anything in low profile. The search continues.

PS: I have a Vortex cantilever very much like your Leupold on my VZ. I like your setup. I think there might be a JR 45ACP in my future.

Have you looked at Leupold mounting systems? I have a Leupold cantilever mount on my JR Carbine that works pretty slick -

If you don't want to shorten the stock or choose a different one, you may be able to have a couple vertebrae added to your neck...or choose a scope with more eye relief.

LOL. I hear you. I've found nothing so far. So it looking like the stock goes or I try a cantilever and deal with modifying the cheek riser.

American Defense makes low prifile one oiece mounts for bolt actions.
I looked at them as well. Some very nice mounts. They dont have a low profile in cantilever. I'll see if there is a shorter stock out there that I can adapt. The XLR and Luth AR stocks look good.
