Are there any QUALITY aftermarket synthetic small ring Mauser stocks?

I am soon taking possession of a lovely Husqvarna lightweight sporter (Made by Richard Gibb's out of BC) in 7x57 with a true small ring commercial action. It sits in a beautifully refinished and hand-checkered Brno 21 stock. The stock is just way too nice for the field, so I want a durable alternative for field work. They seem hard to find. Any advice, direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check out McMillan's line up, they offer semi-inletted stocks for Mauser's due to the differences in external dimensions of Mauser actions by different manufacturers. I'm not sure what the lead time would be, but after the efforts they put in to help a pal of mine stock his SAKO .222 Magnum, including acting as an intermediary with an American parts outfit who won't ship outside the US, I just can't say enough good things about these guys . . . and they make great stocks too.

I don't know if you are dead set on synthetic, but if you might consider a laminate, the Boyd's Classic can be had inlet for a Mauser and it is an extremely comfortable and stable stock. Not expensive, and, IMHO, much nicer to hold and look at than any synthetic.

Yeah, I was looking at them. They are quite nice. But in truth, experience has lead me to prefer synthetic for heavy field use. I reserve the nicer wood stuff for range day, and light field use. Thanks for pointing this out.
