Are these guys legit or what? please read, not all bad, update is on page 2

please let me know privately or in the forum if anyone else is having serious problems with badger arms right now. I dont like to air dirty laundry to others, but I feel it may be my responsibility to save my fellow gun nutterz from suffering the same fate I am in now.

Heres whats up so far, I ordered a gsg1911 almost 2 months ago, they said they were in stock and would ship ASAP. after a couple weeks of no phone calls, emails or word from the CFO to ask about registering and getting an ATT for my new gun I got concerned and started phoning, and emailing them to see what was happening. after 5-6 phone calls and about 4 emails with no response at all, I gave up thinking they must not have put the order through and didnt want my business.

But then I got my visa bill showing I had been charged for it despite never knowing if I would ever see it, so I started calling and emailing again, after another round of several emails and phone calls that were never replied to I finally sent 1 last one telling them I was very mad and would be calling visa to report them as making a fraudulent charge on my account.

This finally got there attention and I got 1 phone call saying that it was delayed from a manufacturing problem but things were resolved and the gsg's would be shipping out right away and for my patience I could have an extra mag or holster for the inconvenience, but I would need to let them know which. So I started calling and emailing again to let them know which item I wanted, and thank them for finally letting me know what was happening.

Now several weeks later again, still nothing. I havent once talked to them or had a reply from them, and still no registration or gun on the way. start to finish its been almost 2 months and Ive sent about 12 emails and probably 30+ phone calls and only one reply with what may have been a BS story to begin with.

I hope that the owners and management of badger arms see this and maybe they will respond to me this way, but for now if anyone else has this problem or one like it let me know that I'm not alone and maybe save the next guy from this nightmare. Thanks for your time, hope to hear from all of you and badgers management.

The owner and manager is one and the same. He is beyond busy and I'm sure he will make it right as soon as he can. All my dealings with him have been great so far and I do hope that your deal turns into an ok one soon.
 
Well I was recently out to visit Armond at his shop and we had as good as a visit as we could between all the phone calls. He is packing and getting things moved to the new location which is coming along nicely. There is some work yet to be done to abide by regulations and and inspections by the higher ups. Yes badger is a very legit company. Just things a bit hectic around there at the moment as Armond has a lot going on. I have been dealing with him for a couple years now and have not found a better place to deal with. Can't wait to see the new sore up and running next time Armond. Best of luck in the new store. I would like to show that my post is not just a grouchy ignorant old man that complains about everything. So I have been reading post after post on the badger forum and there is a running trend that I have noticed. First many people are very happy with these guys, Thats good and makes me hopeful. second Armand sounds like a stand up guy from what I've read, time after time he seems to go above and beyond for people, and thats really nice. Third though is unfortunate, my experience so far is one of hundreds of the same thing over and over.
So with the first two trends I mentioned I hope to get this dealt with and that would be great, but I'm still skeptical.
When ever I call I dont even get an answering machine to leave a message so you know where I'm coming from, it just rings and ring and rings, and the emails over 2 months still haven't been returned.
If Armand happens to read this I would love to hear from you personally because it seems you could maybe help me, my frustration is boiling over but I'm really not a #### I just want a reply that's all.
 
This must be the 4th or 5th thread about bad service with this business. I dont believe its a coincidence, glad i deal with Wolverine Supplies, cause they rock! Well so far anyhow.
 
Why wouldnt they let you know at the time of ordering that there will be delays. Yours is not the first complaint they had. Yes I understand that they need more phone lines and are moving their shop but I think a stand up guy would let you know this at the time of ordering. It sure would save alot of negative replys.

I ordered the same gun and had/still having issues. I waited 3 weeks with no response to emails. it has now been over a month and was told they refunded my money but my credit card company still has not seen the refund. I continue to wait...
This next part is for all those people calling us impatient or whiners. Before you make dumb comments about us think about how you would feel in our shoes. When I placed my order, Badger Arms was not honest with their situation up front. They took my credit card and charged it right away. They didn't even hint that they were very behind or moving or anything. And they didn't tell anyone until someone went on gunnutz and complained. How would you feel if you have been waiting a month with no word from Badger Arms and you don't go on this site so you have not seen their explanation. You would be pretty pissed that they took your money and seemed to forget about you. I fully understand that if you had a good experience with Badger Arms, you feel the need to defend them. But we all have had bad experiences with them and feel the need to tell others so they don't get caught up in the situation that we are all in. So next time please use your brains and keep your comments about us to yourselves as you have no idea what we are gong through.
 
I tried ordering from them but no response for weeks, then finally I get an email asking me what I want. If you can't read the full email and/or listen to the many messages I've left only to ask me again weeks after the fact, you don't deserve my business. I ended up spending my money with someone else.
 
From my dealings with Badger if everything is going smoothly they are great but if there is a hickup instead of dealing with it they tend to not communicate.
 
Well I got word in from badger, sometimes you just have to find the right person to make all the stress go away. I talked to Armond personally on his own time and he is still backed up on paperwork and shipping but working non stop all day and into the night at home to try to catch up. I can appreciate that commitment and hard work cause I do it to when I need to. In less than an hour he got my info and got a hold of me to fill me in, I am reasonable and dont expect every thing to be perfect all the time but when its not I just want answers to "why" and "when" So I still wait for results but I am happy to report that in the end there should be some results. wow your patient,I have ordered 4 handguns from them in total great service and fast shipping for the first two! the last 2....well lets just say it was the last two period. Armand and his wife are easy to deal with and also very helpfull but Im an impatient guy and like to recieve new toys the same month I order them, I am glad there so busy they cant keep up and wish them well in the future!!
 
Well busy or not, not getting back to a customer, and by the sounds of it more than just a few pissed off customers. Busy is busy, but when I deal with Canada ammo, who I think is by far one of the bussiest businesses on here, they are excellent to deal with, absolutely zero ducking around. I can safely say I know where I'm spending my money, and where I'm not. Sorry to hear about the run around. Hope it works out.
 
I have done business with Badger for almost two years. I have bought plenty of items from him and I have nothing but great things to say about Armand. As mentioned, they are indeed moving and he is having quite a challenge responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner for the moment. They also hired some help recently... hoping this will speed things up a bit.

This new larger centraly located place in Melfort will allow for faster shipping , better sevice for emails and more phone lines.

We have hired 2 new staff members, things will be back to normal very soon!

Growth is a necssary to provide the service we strive to provide! We simpily out grew our old facility.

We will be having a huge grand opening sale from the 21st of April to the to the first of May.

P.S. Thank you for stopping the M1 calls and emails, this killed our communication with all services.

I called several times with questions on a gun from them, and the lady answering couldn't answer?

Why are you even answering the phone or working at a gun store if you cant answer my questions?(they were basic)

She says email and I will get a quick reply from Armand! Probably by the end of the day! :eek:

It is now 2 months later and several Emails have gone ignored.

I will not be buying anything from Badger!
