Are these muzzle vent holes far enough from the handguard?

Hi guys, good night.

Quick question, I have a dlask A6 muzzle brake installed on my ar15, very big fireballs on both sides but no muzzle rise. I noticed that after a trip to the range there are some carbon on the tip of the handguard.

Are these muzzle vent holes far enough from the handguard? I just want to make sure the handguard won't get damaged by venting pressure from the muzzle blast. Thanks.

Is that from Dlask? I had one that looked exactly like that on a 10.5". Very effective & a blast to shoot .. ha .. ha
