Are we ever going to get 6.5 Grendel upper in Canada?

I'm looking for a precision semi auto setup.

I'd rather not go with 223 and the 6.5mm seems like the perfect match for a SPR build. I already got a kickass lower setup so I thought just buying an upper would be less trouble and less money than a precision M305 setup. Especially since I know nothing about the M305.

I live in montreal and I have seen grendel used by a shooter so it isnt non-existant.

Well there are some nice sub 1000$ 6.5 uppers in USA; and our dollar is good. Ammo is the expensive part, but building a SPR in 223 or 6.8, 6.5 ,etc is abount the same price.

Having witnessed a 6.5 14.5" barreled upper reaching out to 1000 yards a few years ago..someday I'll have one, although I will most likely go with a bolt gun.

I have my sights set on 6.8 SPC in 16" Recce package.

You know, I get the 6.8 for terminal reasons (.277 bullets) but for match shooting there are just so many better 6.5 bullets out there, I just can't get the attraction. Oh well, whatever floats your boat I guess (and they will work better on zombies). - dan
