Are WK180 Gen 2 prices skyrocketing?

Just noticed someone trying to sell their Gen 2 WK180 for $300 more than what we are selling them for brand new. Do we need to raise our prices?

Vendors were blowing them out last week. Surely on dipsh!ts most current banned list. I wouldn’t be paying a premium right now, but that’s just me. Hopefully the scary NR/prohib black rifles can make a comeback in a couple of years.

Not buying a rifle because you're concerned it will get banned is exactly what the liberals want.

It's just supply and demand. It seems Kodiak hasn't been able to produce the Gen 2's in great #'s yet and people like to use them for varmint hunting and sport shooting. There's demand.

That’s not what I said at all. I said I wouldn’t pay a premium.
I certainly don’t care what they “want” beyond what they actually say.
Buy what you want, and for a lot of guys, pay what you want. I’m going to do the same, but I’m not paying a “scared tax” on top of that.
Mass non compliance is the only defence we have. People think writing letters and lawyers are going to have an effect on what the government says? We’re not the nra, and unfortunately, we’re not a demographic that politicians are going to need to stay in power vote wise.

Ok I might understand that, but stores have them in stock are they are around $1500. Selling one privately for $1850 seems a little silly.

In Ontario $1500 plus 13% sales tax plus $43 shipping from Marstar adds up to $1750. If the $1850 is shipped that's only $60 extra and the guy probably is willing to take offers so $1850 asking may be a little higher knowing people will offer less.

To me, it doesn't seem like taking advantage. Although, I've certainly seen that take place with the T81's shortly after the May.1 OIC fiasco. They were $1000 plus tax and shipping at first and post May.1,2020 they were asking and getting $2000-$2500.

They are blowing out the Gen 1's. Im yet to see a blow out price on a Gen 2, if there is such a deal please tell me where.
