Are you Familiar with Northern Saskatchewan

I want to know how far north i can go by road (decent road) in Saskatchewan and what way to go. I want to go camping My 24th weekend up north somewhere while checking out some new hunting spots.

I'm big on lakes and ponds and forest that are Crown.

Any advice?

I hear a lot of people talk about La Ronge (sp?)
On the map it looks pretty populated. Is there more north?

It really depends on what you are looking for/to find. I would avoid La Ronge, last i was there it was still dirty and the lake is horrible fishing. let me know what you are lookin to do, fish, scout etc.... and i will be able to make some better recommendations. Oh and just to let you know, I lived up north for 6 years and my step dad who taught me about the north has been up there for years. also i know some outfitters as well and my landlord's friend own a fly in place up north that is just beautiful.
