Are you still using a hand priming tool? WHYYYY??????!!!

Where in Canada can I order one(RCBS bench priming tool). Amazon Canada and Cabelas don't have them anymore. I just started reloading Norinco .45ACP brass with Dominion primers, very tight fit.

The Lee hand priming press is still functioning for me. It's a bit awkward in that it doesn't fit the hand very well. But if you turn it around in your hand (rotate 180 degrees horizontal) it actually fits the hand better, and as a bonus it's pointing away from your face. Been using the Lee handprimer for 20 years and only stumbled on this technique last year. I'll have to take a picture and post it i guess.

I hand prime with a Lee with no issues, for rifle only.. Dillion 650 for pistol rounds and .223

good hand strength exercise anyway I guess... and you can really 'feel' if anything is hanging up :) Really should wear eye protection though as it is - by necessity - kind of close to your face

The lee turret press and safety prime work out pretty well for my purposes. Fast and easy take a bit to get use to the, need to apply pressure to seat to proper depth but once I do 5-6 rounds...all good

Have used an RCBS and Dillon 550 press to prime occasionally but nowadays prefer the Lee hand loader which I can operate anywhere. I like to 'feel' the primer being seated and also being aware of any loose primer pockets. Have used it for years without a problem.

I'm sure site sponsor "Epps" could fix you up.

Epp's is a great place to shop in person, but I avoid their website like the plague. Next time I'm down that way perhaps. I'm almost out of that fantastic jerky they sell at the cash.

Edit:Found them on Amazon under RCBS Auto Primer.
