Area 419 Hellfire barreled actions coming to Canada from Go Big Tactical! Actions are made by Defiance and chambered by Area 419. Great new option! 1 month turn around and prefits will be available according to Tom from GBT. Pics are from 419 website but will post photos of mine when it arrives:dancingbanana:

You're right it is purely cosmetic. The expense of fluting however is very small in comparison to the actual build cost. It certainly is not required to get that feature when doing one of these builds. If the customer would rather save a couple hundred dollars they can certainly go without. To some the cost is of that purely cosmetic upgrade is worth the expense, to others it is not.
 
That looks like a wonderful setup.

1) warranty
2) accuracy guarantee?
3) if there is an issue. Turnaround tI'm once you have the barrelled action back?
4) fluting void the barrel maker warranty?
5) which brand of barrels are available?

Tom can probably answer more of these but these actions have Bartlein barrels on them and no the fluting does not have an impact on the warranty.

Area 419 stands behind it's products and does provide both a warranty (not due to normal wear and tear) and satisfaction guarantee for the products (as found on their website)

Turn around time should be fairly quick if there is an issue, but customs clearance may delay the process

Fluting does not void the warranty as Ryan mentioned. They use Bartlein barrels for these builds

Accuracy guarantee #2?

Not sure the barrel makers are on boaRd unless they the barrel maker flutes. Just a headsup....often getting things backk into the usa and turned around in a reasonable time is a concern.


Spend a pile of cash to have cross border warranty headaches. Guess a person will only know when it happens.

I can ask about #2, but there are no headaches if you have the proper partnerships and licensing in place
 
Accuracy guarantees are meaningless - some of the best guns in the world don't come with one (AI, TRG 22/42, etc.) as there is no guarantee the shooter is worth a darn.
