anybody run a Q-DC on a versa max tactical? Does the Universal work?

I'm curious about input from anybody who has them in general. Expensive shell carrier, but looks cool as heck.

I have a Universal Q-DC for my beretta 1301. Really nice piece of kit. I can’t see why it wouldn’t mount nicely on a Versamax.

The only downside, like all side saddles, is that when loaded up it does slightly change the balance and handling of the gun. But it’s nothing you don’t adjust to fairly quickly.

When aridus has their next Black Friday sale, I’ll hopefully pick up some more carriers. Assuming they go on sale like they did last Black Friday. No point in having quick detach if you can’t do a quick swap!

Nothing handy, no. Now, the latch-plate mounts to your receiver with 3M double-sided tape, if that's what you mean. it doesn't bolt on to the receiver at all. if there's anything specific you're after, I can probably snap a pic for you this weekend.

If anyone is looking for one we got notice today that Aridus is shipping us a large order today.
We will have all items they make in stock queen as they arrive.

ok I see that now. The tape holds up?

It is holding up great so far. I haven't hosed it down with solvents or anything too extreme, but it has held up to some banging around, and a lot of temperature changes (hot indoors to cold outdoors, hot sunny days, etc), been rained on, gotten mud-covered etc. and has stayed as solid as the day it was installed (I think 6 or 7 months now).

I actually dread ever having to remove it for any reason. lol Here's a video of the owner of Aridus Industries trying to remove a Universal Q-DC that he stuck to a Mossberg 590 (spoiler alert: the gun falls apart and the detachable shell carrier breaks long before the plate comes off the gun):

So, I'd say the tape is plenty strong enough for most users and the Q-DC itself is one tough mother of a sidesaddle!
