Hi folks,

I decided not to touch the stock of my T38 carbine which shows heavy handling marks and leave it as original, but I am thinking of having a replacement to make she look prettier.

Is there any milsurp dealer offers replacement stock at a good price? I spot one at Numrich which is very pricey, plus the shipping is unbelieveably expensive. I hope Numrich is not the only source for a replacement stock for T38 carbine. Anyone has any knowledge on this?

Is it legal to ship the stock cross border?

I believe if the asking price is at or over $125 for a stock, Numrich won't ship it. I hit the same wall looking at a replacement Gewehr 98 stock for a heavily abused Gewehr 98.

I would contact and ask them as when I inquired, they were not even willing to mail any stocks to Canada regardless of the price.

T38 carbines aren't exactly common. Friggin' long dollars too.
Gunparts very likely is your best source. Unless you get lucky at a gun show. They say $200 for Canadian orders. Their current price is $142US plus $25 export fee.

So they actually changed the minimum order amount ? Very interesting to see as I hope they have a different attitude towards shipping a stock to Canada the next time I need something.

Thank you guys!

Would I get any trouble with bringing a stock to cross the border?
I may have Numrich ship to my friend's address in Seattle.
