Arisaka Type 38

I KNEW it! I knew someone like you would, instead of just providing proof of a $80 receipt for a Mosin Nagant TEN years ago, start the sentence with "Whatever".

I'd be GLAD if you can back up what you said, because I'm always happy for ANY milsurp collector getting a good deal. Why would it bother me if you or anyone getting better deal than me? Don't make any sense to me, and puzzling too. But now I get it, I guess YOU are the type that gets jealous when someone gets lucky with a trade, shows how much you're worth. I also don't like liars (or old farts who's too old to remember the difference between ten and THIRTY years) with their made up imaginary prices.

Like I said, I AM now calling you a liar. $80 Mosin Nagants 10 years ago? Lol you should be a comedian.
Sorry was 100$ dated almost 10 years ago. But may been 80$ plus shipping.

But 2014 they had them between 130 and 160$ so why wouldn't it be odd mot to find them for under 100$? Someone buys something for 130$ don't like it, sells for 100.

I bought a Mosin for $130 about ten years ago so can definitely happen. If people are only finding them at the high prices well that sucks to be you. I bought a Garand for a $1000 4 years ago. Fellow wanted what he paid for it about 10 years before. Cheap prices happen you just have to have the money when the deal comes up.

I turned down a mosin at 100$ about 10 years ago. Stores were selling for about 160$ and he had a particularly rough example which he was just trying to get rid of.

Deals do come along sometimes. I remember buying a Egyptian FN-49 with 500rds of ammo for 600$ 5 years ago. Was listed in the local paper classifieds. Older guy who just wanted to get rid of it. Same guy also was selling some Sniders for well above market price so there wasn’t much consistency.
