Hi,
I should be able to put my hands on 2 type 99 arisakas, one last ditch and one early model. Both matching with mum grounded. overall good original condition.
I don't remember one for sale in EE they seems quite rare.
What would be an aproximate value ? I would guess 1500-1800?
I should keep at least one.

Values on the 99s all depend on the condition of the rifles. There are really a lot of factors that come into play, like matching numbers, mum, arsenal that they were produced at and of course overall condition. Prices for good type 99s are definitely up there as you mentioned. They are not super common in Canada and normally sell pretty quickly when they are on the equipment exchange. Without seeing the specific rifles I think your pretty much in the ballpark as far as values go. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or want my opinion.
 
Ground mum hurts the value here.

You’d have to post photos as series, maker , condition, all factor in. Also things could be added or missing.
