I hear I cannot just pop down to the states, pick up a scope and head home. So, anyone know of a canadian dealer for Arken rifle scopes.

Last time I checked the Athalon website they claim no canadian dealers but that ain't so.

Last I saw, opinion was arken edges out athalon but thats youtube.

Im looking ffp scope

Thank you in advance

Hey zebra , I have just installed a Delta Javelin on a rifle I was
told they are the equivalent of the Athlon ERT .

It looks like a good product and we'll be on the range this w/end for follow up.

Feedback to follow .. skwerl

Athlon has dealers and distributor in Canada.. well represented in PRS across Canada.

if I can help, pm or email. Delta is another very good option... just depends on what you want for a feature set and pricing.

I believe, but not sure, the scopes are made in china. Or china parts assembled in the us. Either way the tracking on these things is really, really good. Arken glass is said to be brighter of the two.

Athlon has both China and Japanese manf scopes.

wrt to brightness, I would put them side by side and compare that way. I don't see Athlon giving up anything to peer products in this space.

As a LR rimfire competitor, I know that Athlon scopes have deadly tracking.

First impressions from the hype coming out of the States on the Arken SH4 6-24X50 GEN2: Looking like a market killer.

++++ Clear positives:
32mil elevation
floating dot FFP tree reticle
parallax down to 25y
turret marks line up and have good click
reasonable zero stop system (though I think you wouldn't be able to dial below 0 at all, which I personally don't like)

---- Clear negatives:
8 mils per revolution is nasty
windage marks only every 0.5 mil on the main horizontal line (I prefer every 0.2)

Now if only we could get some reasonable pricing north of the border we'd really have something. It sells for $561 CAD south of the border and $700 CAD north of the border.

Followed Jerry's Athlon suggestions, granted it's just the Argos BTR Gen2 for around 500.00, the FFP, reticle, zero stop turrets, and not bad glass, I am very happy. If you have an issue with being made in China, you may want to do some digging on other scope makers and their parts. Hard to find Japanese glass at this price point.

Hey there Mystic, wondering who has an Athlon ARES ETR 4.5-30x56 in Canada, or a distributor that carries them. I thought I had seen them once and cannot find them anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Send me an email and we can discuss... yes, supply sucks this year. Demand has been very strong and supply has not.

But shooters are getting product... and well worth the wait.
