I just had a conversation about these scopes last week.
Buying a $400USD scope (from USA) will set you back in Canada $900CAD before Tax, for the scope only. (@ rangeviewsports)
I don't know about you but I would look for cheapest possible options to get it to my hands.
Also, not sure up to what extent is these a re-Branded Chinese scope, that is fine if a glass is coming from Japan+Germany production, but the Brand is new also the US companies famous for - to make quick money and just move over.
I had a situation with one very popular Brand name scope bought from US and couple years later I needed service but the company sold me that Brand also manufacturer completely disappeared from surface.
For these same reason I really prefer Brands that are long time on the market, vs some wooow deals on woow specs new products.

Go Big Tactical in B.C. carries Arken optics. I bought the SH4 6-24x50mm from Go Big and love the scope. It sits on my Ultimatum Deuce match gun.
For the money and features it is a great buy. It is comparable to scopes with higher price tags.

The guy in this video is full of horse feathers. Perhaps he needs to learn how to set a diopter properly.
I have been shooting matches with an Arken SH4, 6-24X50 for almost 2 years and have experienced almost none of the issues he talks about.
I can see mirage, bullet trace, bullet holes, blades of grass - everything I need to see. Is there a bit of CA? Yes, but not enough to bother.
For the $700 I paid it was worth it.
Does it compare to scopes that cost 2-3X as much. No. But it does compare very favourably to other scopes near its price range.
