You did an awesome job!

That said I freaking hate arma coat and those 'spray on coatings' They always wear and scratch way to easy. Your safety switch is already wearing away the coating on the slide I see..

Try Crerakote or another bake on finish. There much more robust, But take a little more effort..

Still an awesome application. Very even coat

Armacoat is 5x as hard as the original black oxide on the Desert Eagle but the real plus of Arma-coat is the ease of how easy it is to touch up a scratch or worn area at a later time and make it look perfect. The area you're referring to at the safety, is usually already scratched to bare metal on a brand new DE. Even the gun in the pic used on their website is already scratched to bare metal. The safety really grinds against the slide. Arma-coat is just as hard as cerakote and harder than duracoat. PS: This finish is baked.

Ahh yes, durakote that's the stuff I was thinking about, Scuff up the surface with a pad and spray paint it on lol

Sorry its hard to keep track of all this stuff some times.

Bake on is defiantly the way to go (Y)
