Armalite AR10 B confusion

I have an AR10B that is restricted but my buddy has one that isnt.Mine is 2015 vintage if this helps
These rifles are identical so what gives.
Both in 7.62 both have 20" barrels
Can someone explain this.
On another note does anyone know if a longer front sight pin is available as this rifle shoots 10" high at 100yrds.

Man if you're talking about the late 90s one armalite made (50th anniversary edition) they are crazy rare.
I believe they only made 250 of them.
There are few up here but I believe they were made on a run of limited cloned original ar10 lower/upper. They also used modified m14 mags to feed if I'm not mistaken.
If it's the case they should be technically non restrcited.

These would be rare birds. As a huge retro AR10 freak I'd love to see them.
