So I had not bothered to look into this much because I just wasn't on a 7.62x51 kick...I'm now in a .30cal state of mind. I stumbled upon 10 round capacity XCR-M pistol magazines. Unfortunately they will not function in an Armalite AR10A. So I'm wondering if there is a ''pistol'' mag available somewhere that will run in an Armalite? Thanks anyone.

There's an Armalite AR-10 pistol available through Wild West Shooting Center, so I'll go with a "probably" Maybe send them a message or email and see if they come with 10 rounders.

I did actually call ATRS the other day to see if the XRC-M mags would work and they told me it was a no go. I specifically mentioned it was an AR10A not the older ''B'' style. I was under the impression that the DMPS rifles use the older style M-14 modded mags or the original waffle mags and that is why XRC mags would work for them and not my Armalite. I hadn't seen the ''pistol'' version of the AR10 that WWSC is selling, I'll send them a message and see if they have any 10 rounders available now or soon. Thanks guys.
The new AR10A's do, I have only run Magpul magazines. Fom what I keep hearing it seems the XCR-M pistol mags won't work because of the fact that it takes Stanag style Pmags. The B Armalite rifles use only modded M14, or the orig waffle mags. I contacted WWSC and am waiting to see what they say about the XCR mags.

My ar 10 came from wolverine with one 5rnd waffle and 2 xrm pistol mags not sure a or b tho no mil spec allows a lot of interface issues...
