I was wondering if anyone has any idea of the quality of the AR-30?

Had to go look it up. AR-30 is a bolt action precision rifle? The Ottawa Citizen registry database reports exactly two in Canada, both owned by individuals in Ontario. Find them and ask.

Someone mentioned in another post that they didn't think they were available in Canada any longer...the US doesn't want to let us have them.

If you look at the bottom of the Armalite Price List on The Wolverine site, it says The US State Department is currently not issuing export licenses for the AR50 and AR30 for Canada
So I guess no joy on that one, unless one of the 2 other people in Canada want to sell you theirs
