Armalite milspec buffer tube question

Quick question, is my 10.5' Armalite M15-A4's buffer tube 'milspec'?

I'd like to swap it for a Vltor milspec tube and use the old Armalite tube with a milspec Magpul MOE stock.


Also some help on how to install it would be cool.. do you just unscrew it?

if your MOE stock is MIL SPEC, it will only fit on a milspec tube.

Unscrew old tube, screw in new mil spec tube ,align castle nut
