What issues do you have with MRPs? Just in general, or are some ok?

I don't like the lack of flexibility, fixed rail length, and the fact if you damage the rails the upper requires replacement. I'm sure it's well made as are others but not for me.
Depending on how badly the rail is damaged it could probably be milled off flat then tapped for a new rail atop. would be an expensive fix and wouldn’t be a field expedient repair so not suitable for most military operations.
I own one of Dlask’s 701 carbines with a continuous rail from receiver to the end of the free float tube. I sure like that concept but I see Joe discontinued making them. I’m on the hunt for something like the old Dlask carbine but in 18” SPR config.
I had of the Dlask upper you are talking about, I sold it as soon as I could replace it. The design suppered from all the shortcomings of the MRP as well as being non M1913 spec.IMHO it was a mistake on Dlask's part.
