Hey all,

I need another trigger for my new AR (forgot how bad the factory stuff really is). I know how nice the RRA NM units are but have no experience with the new Armalite 2 stage tactical units. Your opinions are appreciated.

Brian

I see that the Geisselle Service rifle trigger has a first stage pull of 3.2-5lbs and second stage of .5-1.5lbs. That means that I can tune it to have a total pull just over 5lbs for service rifle matches, correct?

I'm not sure if I like the idea of a 2 stage trigger for things like snap shooting from the kneeling, standing, etc...Who makes a good single stage trigger with a pull just over 5 lbs?

A good 2 stage (KAC, Giesselle) in the snaps etc as long as you have the trigger adjusted well -- it should not be a problem.-- also can be tuned to function like a one stage if you want

Not trying to troll but aren't all army issue C7/C8s have factory triggers? If infantry units are using those why do we need $350 trigger upgrades?

cause you can thats why.All you have to do is try one and you will never want a factory trigger again;)

the KAC is another awesome trigger but I don't know who sells them here in Canada

You may NOT need a match trigger -- but they are a #### load nicer that the stock trigger.

The C7CT and AR10T in CF service have match triggers...

Well that's the delimma. If you ever pickup a rifle from a dead guy in a battle you should know how to shoot it.

But then you should never lose your own rifle in the first place. :slap:

X2

The Geissele (pronounced guys-lee) has a slightly different trigger position that is noticeable easier on the hand in a long range session. Less fatigue on the hand/finger = better trigger control = better accuracy.

IMO, the hype on these is earned.

That made my day.
