Hello all,
I recently pick up a new to me 20ga sxs, sidelock. Bought it on a facebook auction site, and thought I got a real good deal. Didnt get a whole lot of info on the gun, but for the price, figured it would make a nice grouse gun that i wouldn't have to worry about bumping around. Well turns out, the seller forgot to mention, the right firing pin is broken. The name on the gun is Armas EGO Eibar. I have been searching the internet, but have not been able to find a replacement pin. Does anyone kow where i could locate one, or is this something that will have to be made?
Any help for be great. Hope to have it back in service for bird season...

There are two options. The first is to order a firing pin from another Spanish sidelock. These guns pretty much all use a common pattern. The current makers source their frames and barrels from a jointly-owned supplier. An AyA firing pin might well fit your gun.

Here is a link to a UK parts supplier. I don't know if they ship here or if any paperwork is required but it's a starting point.

FWIW, the firing pin pictured in the link is identical to the ones in my Spanish sidelock from a different maker. They aren't complicated and the right and left are the same. The second option and the one I'd choose is to have a gunsmith make a replacement firing pin using the one you already have as a starting point. If you go this route have the smith make two new pins and a set of spares.
