armed backpacker style shotguns?

I saw them at the Chilliwack HACS show earlier this year. Seemed pretty solid for the $ and suitable for their intended purpose.
Trigger pull from factory is crazy heavy but its very easy to adjust. If memory serves me its just a bar spring like in a revolver. Just pop the stock off for full access to it.
They seem to be pretty decently made. I have the 12 guage and it actually hits to point of aim. Most really short barreled shotties will not.
I find in 12g it kicks quite hard....like a mule with a 3 inch shell in it. Its crazy loud. Fine for out at the range when you have hearing protection on but for hunting when you want to be able to hear the critters, it has an aweful ear ringing report. Pretty sure I'm going to get rid of mine for this reason only. If you dont mind the loud report, its a decent shotgun and it fits in a normal sized backpack.

two things I noticed right out of the box with mine, very heavy trigger pull was the first thing, the plastic trigger guard scares me, it is very thin on the edges around the screw that acts as a guide, as you have to pull the trigger guard to open the action.
I'll see how it stands up to the 4 month torture test in the mountains of western BC.........other then that the fit and finish couldn't be better on the price point of this thing. Also shop around, I found mine new at a cheaper price then someone's high profile sale thread here on the forums at another sponsors web store..............
