ARMI JAGER-MOD A.P.74 22LR Restricted or Non-Restricted???

I was talking to a guy the other day and he asked me if the ARMI JAGER-MOD A.P.74 22LR was restricted?
Anyone know what the status is on the gun?

I believe that was the model I inherited from a relative and it was classified restricted. I know it's a .22 - but it looks scary so.......

I bought one in 87. It was NR then but since C-17 deemed it an AR15 variant in 92 it is now restricted. Why I don't know considering it does not share one single part with an AR15. Still have it. Going to take it shooting this weekend for the first time in 12 years.

Yes it is.

It guess it hurt when the lab guy stuck one up his shute, so it was reclassified as restricted.

The AP-74 is a great little rifle in my opinion. Have 3 of them. My son loved it when he was small as it functions the same as my AR. Now I don't get to shoot it much. Just pay for 223!!!!!

lol...thats funny! We've all wondered how they classify...I thought they had one of those spinning wheel of fortune wheels sitting on a table. 100 spaces between the pegs, 1 says "non restricted, spin again if it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday"...the other 99 say "restricted" or "prohibited."
