Ok so I'm finally going to fix a San Marco Baby Dragoon from 1974. Got to order up a new hand, hand spring, cylinder stop, and cylinder stop/trigger spring. Since their long gone, any idea whose parts may fit best with least amount of f@$#%*! ???.... I know Uberti made a 1848 in the past, but not sure who made what for who? Any help would be greatly appreciated before I just start rolling the dice with Dixie or Marstar.

I have an ASM 1860 clone that has been in parts since the 90's that requires a new hand & trigger. Tried Uberti parts from VTI and others from Dixie gun works and none even were close to being a fit. Quite frankly, that ASM is the worst manufactured gun I have ever owned. It was a "spur of the moment" gun auction purchase that i hadn't looked at in the viewing time...Cylinder timing was off by about 1/8 bore dia and unfireable ....auction description...."new and unfired" LOL.

Your story sounds familiar... The internals are indeed crap. Hoping to upgrade them.

Well..., I had a stainless one, stolen by a relative.... I'm hoping to inherit it some day... You wouldn't do enforcement by any chance :) ?

I tell you what is strange. I sold about one year ago a kit built ASM Walker that was purchased at Minot about twenty years ago. Assembled then registered in Canada. Then sold to another guy before he sold it to me.
Super reliable revolver. And that huge heavy cylinder would just crush any spent caps that fell between cylinder and the water table. The blueing was light and dark in places (steel frame and barrel in the white) because the first guy it was done at home yet it never faded beyond the initial blueing.
Stupid move me selling it!

Edit: It's loss is noted. I feel a new Uberti Dragoon in my future via Wolverine!
