Armilite AR-180B non-restricted?

I read somewhere there is this AR that is non-restricted in Canada. Is this true and if so where can I get one.

Yes its an "AR" as in Armilite Rifle, but no, its not an AR-15 like you might be thinking.

As already said it is not a AR15. It is a separate rifle altogether. Havnt been sold new for years. Your best bet to find one is gunbroker in the states and import it into Canada or the EE. Your looking at a 1600$ roughly for a used rifle in Canada. I should also point out it the AR180b2 has a polymer lower receiver.

One word of warning, if buying in the US: make sure it does not have a cut barrel. Lots of the AR180B models have been cut to 16" which would make it restricted in Canada.
