ARMS #18 problem

ok, so i went to the range today with my norc and ARMS 18 mount. A first everything seems to be fine until i relized my groups starting to go horribly wrong. i checked my scope and relized that the mount has come loose.
The big nuts has come loose while the 2 little allen nuts is fine.
i tried to tighten the big nut but i found the nuts simply wont be tighten no matter what. any ideas guys?? :confused:

M14Doctor has some extra ones or ARMS will send you some. I always add a bit of the bule stuff and these types of issues never happen again to me;

If the nut just keeps spinning and never gets tight than either the threads on the bolt are stripped, or the threads in the receiver are stripped. Better hope it's just the bolt.

As mentioned, M14Doctor has a supply of the ARMS bolts. Unless he sold out which I doubt.

Hopefully it's just a bolt.
 
Arms will send you a bolt if it's stripped. It happened to me years ago, and I don't think I even had to pay anything for it.
 
Use some blue loctite and use a torque wrench to tighten the bolt to the 90-100 INCH pounds that they call for in the instructions. I had the same problem as you and after doing this i had no more problems.
