ARMS CORP .22 WMR !!

Bought this Arms Corp model 1500 .22WMR at the Calgary gunshow last spring, it was in pretty rough shape. It stacks CCI 40gr Maxi Mags into a ragged little hole @ 50yds all day long despite the somewhat heavy trigger, probably 5lbs . I re-finished the stock and applied 5 coats of tru-oil and sanded the barrel and action down to 600 grit and sprayed it with (GASP!) a couple of thin coats of flat black TREM-CLAD and voila!!

Looking good. It’s amazing how focused everyone is on shiny new things these days. Some of these old units shoot as good or better than the new stuff.

Nice job! Made in Philippines? I had that rifle back in the 80’s. It shot very well also.

Great rifle , a person at our club has one and it too shoots lights out at 50 yds . Strangely the only rifle that matches this performance is a Zastava MP 22 in 22wmr ! Both 300 dollar rifles , I must be missing something here !
