ARMS Mount

I was wondering if the forward pressure screw bolt-head (right term?) for the mount is supposed to interfere with the handguard? The mount is on just fine, but I only noticed this after I wanted to install a painted handguard for the stocker, and could only remove it once I took the ARMS mount off. I should say that I have been removing the handguard by twisting it off, upside down, as recommended to me. I guess if you loosen the gas system up, it would slide forward......

Yes, the front mount screw is a pain in the a$$ alright. Find a set screw and replace the original mount screw, problem solved.

You can cut a small notch off the handguard to prevent any interference.

just use a small rat file (round) and make a small indent in the handguard at the screw position, works like a charm
